A further expansion across the United States has been announced by KAX Media America, as the firm secured the green light to commence with operations in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

The US subsidiary of the Gambling.com Group has completed the necessary application processes, and received approval from both the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and the West Virginia Lottery to provide services to licensed gaming operators in the respective states.

As a result of the approvals the organisation is to execute commercial agreements with online operators across the sports betting, casino and poker verticals in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Furthermore, in both jurisdictions KAX Media America can also strike commercial agreements, that include revenue share arrangements with licensed gaming operators.

Charles Gillespie, chief executive of Gambling.com Group, said of the new duo of approvals: “We will seek the necessary licenses and approvals in all US states that decide to properly regulate online gambling with a mobile offering and a competitive landscape.

“As the American market grows, it’s critical to have resources like Gambling.com and Bookies.com in the conversation to steer consumers toward the safe and regulated gaming environment. With a massive population of die-hard sports fans, Pennsylvania will surely become one of the largest sports betting markets in the US.”

Although active in New Jersey since early 2017, the group announced earlier this year that it secured approval to create revenue sharing arrangements in the region.

Lauded as a”major development,” the group stated that it’s striving to grow market share “in the fastest growing, regulated sports betting and online gaming market in the world.”

Approval came after the organisation filed an application for an ancillary casino service industry enterprise license related to the US subsidiary, which was subsequently given the thumbs up by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
