Casino software and games developer Playson has deepened its footprint within Romania after securing a class II licence by the country’s regulator, the ONJN, last month.

Entering the regulated Romanian igaming market recently, the Malta headquartered firm has subsequently unveiled a content partnership alongside operator Platinum Casino.

Tatiana Grigorescu, PR manager for Platinum Casino, stated: “Ensuring that we grow our offering to players with the latest and greatest games is a priority for Platinum Casino, and Playson continues to produce an excellent selection of market leading slots.

“We are thrilled to have signed this agreement with Playson and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”

Under the terms of the partnership the slot provider is to deliver a number of titles, including Solar Queen, Wild Warriors, Mighty Africa and Book of Gold: Classic as well as its popular Timeless Fruit Slots portfolio.

This continues a sustained period of growth across Eastern Europe for Playson, with the firm, which holds licences with the UK Gambling Commission and Malta Gaming Authority, recently signing commercial agreements with operators in Latvia and Bulgaria.

Christos Zoulianitis, senior account manager for Playson, added: “We’re excited to join forces with Platinum Casino to offer its players our extensive portfolio of top-quality slots.

“We are always striving to enhance our reach in regulated markets, and this is the latest in a string of strategic commercial deals which has seen us continue to expand our presence across Eastern Europe.”

The CasinoBeats Summit returns to London in September, backed by some of the biggest names in the online gaming industry, including Playson.

CasinoBeats will welcome up to 1,000 senior industry executives to Olympia London on September 17-20, offering delegates four conference tracks and unrivalled networking opportunities with as many as 200 operators present.

Lars Kollind, business development manager at Playson, commented: “This will be our first time at the CasinoBeats Summit, and we are very excited to be a part of the event as premium sponsor.”
