Casino games provider Pariplay has become the latest firm to target the southeastern European country of Romania, after being certified to make its entry.
Following in the footsteps of Finnplay, which launched Platinum Casino, Gaming Innovation Group and Playson in recent times, Pariplay has been granted a class II gaming licence.
Receiving certification from the Romanian National Gambling Office, ONJN, the licence enables the B2B provider to supply the regulated market with its portfolio of online casino games via its fusion aggregation platform.
Granting Romanian operators access to a portfolio of content comprising Pariplay’s in-house suite of titles alongside a variety of third-party offerings, the platform boasts a number of video slots, scratch cards, instant win titles and more, available for Romanian players to peruse, including Dragons Of The North, Jack In The Box and Gold’orado.
This latest manoeuvre also extends the organisation reach across Europe, which has seen the firm branch out into Sweden, Italy and Bulgaria recently, with Portugal, Denmark and Switzerland also on the firm’s radar.
Richard Mintz, commercial and marketing director at Pariplay, said of the green-light being issued: “Acquiring the Romanian gaming licence is another key milestone in Pariplay’s overall growth.
“With Pariplay fusion, which offers a seamless and simple integration, we’re able to equip our partners with edgy products and enhanced features to elevate players’ gaming experiences. We already have several key Romanian operators lined up for our custom-tailored aggregation services.”
Last month Aspire Global agreed a €13.1m deal to acquire Isle of Man-based GMS Entertainment, the owner of casino games provider Pariplay, as the firm adds “another crucial part of the igaming value chain”.
Expected to be finalised during the third quarter of the year, via the transaction Aspire states numerous benefits of creating synergies, broadening the game portfolio and providing a channel to distribute and sell proprietary games outside of its network.
