London’s Genting Casino Cromwell Mint is to undergo a multi-million pound refurbishment which will see the property ultimately become rebranded as Forty Five Kensington.
The new venue, which initially opened as the ‘45 Club in the early 1960s, is striving to combine “world class gaming and a first class dining experience” during the complete makeover.
An upgraded gaming area is to see the addition of a new private gaming room, with a greater emphasis to also be placed upon hospitality, with changes to both the bar and restaurant.
The size of the electronic gaming area is set to increase with the addition of more tables, while the main gaming floor will undergo significant upgrades and continue to offer customers a tailored gaming experience.
Open to both casino members and non-members, Forty Five Kensington’s addition of a first-class gaming room will offer guests the opportunity to play privately, away from the main gaming floor in a more intimate setting.
As part of the venues renewed focus on hospitality, the bar and restaurant area will undergo a full re-work to enhance its look and feel via modernised décor and the creation of a relaxed environment for customers away from the gaming floor.

Work on the casino is currently underway and is scheduled to be completed in October of this year, with the entity to operate as normal during the refurbishment.
