As legal sports betting continues to spread to more states, casinos, and mobile devices, several industry experts who were gathered in Manhattan last week discussed another potential venue for wagering: betting windows at U.S. arenas and stadiums.

And while the interest in the subject from Monumental Sports — think Washington Capitals, Wizards, Mystics, Capital One Arena — is well-known, a Madison Square Garden executive confirmed at a Sports Betting USA panel that “The World’s Most Famous Arena” has similar goals.

California Dreaming? Tribes Take First Step Toward Legal Sports Betting

California’s tribal gaming community on Wednesday took the first step toward legal sports betting in the most populous state in the nation — and it did so without going through the state general assembly.

According to Pechanga.net, a coalition of at least 18 tribes filed a proposal for a constitutional amendment that would be placed on the November 2020 ballot. The proposal takes the state general assembly out of the equation and would put the decision directly in the hands of voters.

Number Of Online Sports Betting Sites In PA Grows, But Odds And Lines Look Awfully Familiar

Excitement built recently about growth in Pennsylvania’s online sports betting options, with DraftKings entering the market last week and Unibet ready to launch this week.

There’s likely to be disappointment at the same time, particularly among the most serious and savvy sports bettors.

New Jersey The Test Case For Yahoo’s Sports Betting Entry

The recent partnership reached between Yahoo and MGM Resorts for sports betting has intrigued many in the gaming industry who wonder exactly how this will work.

On Thursday, we get a quick hint. Yahoo visitors in New Jersey will be the guinea pigs in this deal, for the first time seeing prompts to click through to the BetMGM product to place their sports bets.
