Malta-based online casino operator Videoslots has enhanced its European footprint, after going live on the Danish market.

After securing a licence from the Danish Gambling Authority earlier in the year, the firm is giving players in the regulated jurisdiction access to its slot and table games for the first time.

Launching its new Denmark facing site, Videoslots has lined-up with content from a variety of industry suppliers, such as NetEnt, Yggdrasil, Quickspin and Thunderkick.

Already licensed in a number of regulated markets, including the United Kingdom, Sweden and Malta, the new launch adds a further string to the firm’s international aspirations.

William Ahlberg, head of casino at Videoslots.com, said of the launch: “We’re always looking to enhance our reach and grow the Videoslots brand and going live in a new regulated market helps us to achieve our ambitions.

“Denmark is an attractive territory to operate in and our vast and varied portfolio of games is sure to appeal to players who are learning about us for the first time. It’s an exciting period for sure.”

Speaking last month, Alexander Stevendahl, chief executive officer at Videoslots, said of securing a licence for the Danish market: “After a lot of hard work, we are delighted to have been awarded an operator licence by the Danish Gambling Authority.

“It highlights how much care and consideration we take when it comes to the safety of players, and will allow us to offer them a fun and safe place to play thousands of popular games.”
