William Hill US has enhanced its long-term relationship between itself and Caesars Entertainment as it confirms its first Illinois sportsbook at Grand Victoria Casino Elgin.

The deal expands William Hill’s sports betting into legalised markets featuring three full-service ticket windows. The William Hill sportsbook at Grand Casino marks the beginning of the firm’s expansion into the Illinois sports betting market.

“Grand Victoria Casino is located just outside of Chicago – where some of the most passionate sports fans in the country live. I’m looking forward to seeing the community come together to watch their favorite teams as we welcome back the return of our favorite professional sports,” commented David Grolman, president of operations for William Hill

“This will be our first sports book in the state of Illinois and allows us to continue to expand our relationship with Caesars Entertainment properties across the country.”

The William Hill sportsbook features a number of high-top tables and seating options, as well as multiple televisions for prime sports viewing through the day. The venue is open seven days a week, from 10am to 10pm.

In order to mitigate the risk of COVID-19, the venue will follow a ‘thorough protocol’ for cleaning to ensure guests have a safe experience, with William Hill stating the health and safety of customers and employees is it’s ‘priority’ and the properties where they operate.

Grand Victoria Casino, senior vice president and general manager, Bill Gustafson, added:“Partnering with the country’s leading sports betting operator allows us to offer our customers an elevated experience that features industry-leading wagering and technology.  The sports book is in a prime location that will draw sports fans in and keep them engaged as they cheer on their favorite teams.”
