NetEnt has claimed SlotBeats’ Slot of the Week with its criminal underworld-themed title Cash Noire.

The 5×4, 1,024 payline slot, which is based in the crime-ridden streets of San Cayetano, brings back NetEnt’s proprietary Avalanche feature with an ‘engaging’ twist.

Commenting on the title, Andy Whitworth, NetEnt chief commercial officer, said: “Cash Noire is a mechanically thrilling game set against the backdrop of a murder mystery that will leave players on the edge of their seats,

“With the return of Avalanche and a strong feature set which ramps up to solve the crime, the gameplay has huge engagement and retention potential and we look forward to it being enjoyed by a wide variety of players.”

Within the game, the Avalanche feature removes winning symbols from the reels when they land to make space for new symbols to fall into the empty positions with the falls continuing until there is no win.

The slot has a red pattern of hotspots which appear on every spin, these spots are the games Crime Zone. Initially, three spots are located in the game which increase to five when specific clues from the Clue List are triggered.

The Mystery symbol in this game is the bank vault which can appear anywhere in the game during regular or free spins. When the symbol lands outside the Crime Zone, it transforms into a random symbol from the paytable.

If it lands inside the Crime Zone, the symbol clones itself onto all positions in the pattern. Each clone then morphs into the same random symbol from the paytable, to potentially lead to bigger wins.

During the free spins, the City Chase Map is included with a multiplier starting at x1. Symbols in the Crime Zone light up locations on the Chase Map. Every seven locations activated increases the multiplier by one for the next spin.

Once all locations are lit the multiplier is 10x and provides three extra free spins. The RTP in this title stands at 96.06 per cent with the slot having a low variance.
