Entertainment Laboratories has agreed a partnership with Playtech that sees the group join the gambling tech firm’s iPoker network as well as welcoming a new wave of igaming content.

Lauding the “well-established” poker network, which is set to be offered on Enlabs’ flagship Optibet brand as well as Bestpoker, the group is to also welcome on-board Playtech’s casino and live casino games portfolio.

“We are always striving to provide our customers with stable and high-quality products. With iPoker we can offer modern poker experience for all kinds of players,” Maksims Gorbacs, head of poker at Enlabs, said of the move.

“We are confident that iPoker’s liquidity and innovative features will allow our customers to enjoy an even better poker experience.”

Praising Playtech’s iPoker network as leading “the way in network liquidity,” the agreement comes as Enlabs aims to strengthen its position in the Baltics “as the top go to poker provider.” The firm’s current cooperation with the GGNetwork will terminate with the launch of iPoker.

“With poker as a product witnessing a rebirth of popularity, we are excited to cooperate with an established partner offering world-leading entertainment,” stated George Ustinov, Enlabs CEO and group president.

“iPoker is providing a fair, safe and enjoyable poker experience for both recreational players and more experienced ones. The network brings together strong reputable partners that are all regulated, focusing on safer gambling and player protection. These are the values we share together.”

Last week the Kindred Group’s 32Red brand announced pans to quit the poker vertical when the Microgaming Poker Network closes down, pointing players to its Unibet Poker sister network.

Issuing the update on-site and in communication with players, 32Red is exiting the vertical as opposed to following the path of fellow skins in finding a new home.

Grosvenor Poker recently became the latest to announce a switch to Playtech’s iPoker Network, a move which it is thought that at least half of the 16 MPN skins are to make. The Olympic Entertainment Group’s Olybet entity isn’t one however, after unveiling its transition to the GGPoker Network.
