Pollard Banknote, the lottery provider based out of Toronto, has announced it has been awarded a three-year contract with the Missouri Lottery that will see it continue to provide its pull-tabs program to the operator.

The three-year agreement will see Diamond Game, a Pollard Banknote subsidiary, continue to provide the Missouri Lottery with pull-tabs, dispensers and related lottery services through to 30 September 2023.

Commenting on the deal, Missouri Lottery Chief Operating Officer Bernard Collier stated: “We are pleased to be extending our contract with Diamond Game and further growing our contribution to public education. Missouri’s fraternal organizations have also benefited tremendously since the Pull-Tabs program launched, and we’re delighted to continue supporting their efforts.”

Diamond Game president Bill Breslo added: “We are extremely pleased to be extending our agreement with the Missouri Lottery and look forward to working with its team to further its goals. It is also a privilege that our product helps support the positive contributions that the veteran and fraternal non-profit retailers make in their communities.”

The Pollard Banknote deal follows on from the news earlier in the year that saw the Missouri Lottery further its relationship with the Scientific Games Corporation in the form of a one year contract extension.

As a result of that deal, Scientific Games,  which currently creates and manufactures 90% of the Missouri Lottery’s Scratchers, will continue serving as the lottery’s primary instant game provider until June 2021,

At the time, John Schulz, Senior VP Instant Products for Scientific Games, said: “As the primary Scratchers supplier to the Missouri Lottery, we look forward to continuing our good work together. Our teams work hand-in-hand with the Lottery’s teams so we are fully aligned on business objectives and can stay one step ahead of market demand for the highest performing games that entertain Missourians.”
