Premiership Rugby side Leicester Tigers has signed an agreement with Topps Tiles that will see the firm replace Holland and Barrett as the side’s main partner.

As part of the deal Topps Tiles will become Leicester Tigers’ front of shirt sponsor for the 2020/21 season. Additionally, the tile company will appear on the matchday warm-up kits and be provided with significant TV assets including perimeter and LED board branding, and the media backdrops.

Andrea Pinchen, Tigers’ Chief Executive Officer, stated: “We are delighted to welcome Topps Tiles as incoming main partners. They are a well-known national brand with strong connections to our city and we look forward to working with them.

“We look forward to developing a long-lasting relationship with the team at Topps Tiles. It is an exciting time at Tigers as we build for future success and it’s great to have support from such a successful and innovative partner.

“We would like to thank Pitch International for their assistance as part of this process.

“The club would also like to thank Holland and Barrett for their support over the last four seasons as they leave us upon the completion of the current season.”

Over the next couple of seasons, both entities will collaborate with the players and supporters on a number of initiatives, with Topps Tiles gaining a large presence at the clubs ground, Welford Road Stadium.

Richard Carter, Retail Managing Director of Topps Tiles (UK) Ltd, commented: “Topps Tiles is a business built on family values. For 57 years we’ve sold only the very best quality, on-trend tiles and have become the UK’s largest tile specialist. It therefore felt right to connect our brand with such a successful and iconic team in the world of rugby.”

The deal will only come into effect next season with the current Premiership Rugby campaign still scheduled to commence on August 14. This means that Leicester Tigers will still wear Holland and Barrett branded kits until the season’s conclusion, thus officially ending its four season association with the health food chain.
