Austrian Bundesliga club FC Red Bull Salzburg has become the eight team in the country’s top-flight to partner with sports betting operator Admiral Sportwetten.
The agreement will see the duo collaborate until 2023, with Admiral replacing Salzburg’s former official sponsor, fellow sports betting firm bet-at-home.
“Admiral Sportwetten is not only the new Bundesliga competition sponsor, but has also been an official partner of FC Red Bull Salzburg since the start of the season,” remarked Stephan Reiter, Managing Director of FC Red Bull Salzburg, speaking to Austrian outlet sportbusiness.at.
“We are delighted about this commitment to Austrian football with a company that cares about the sport very much, and we hope that we will work together successfully.”
Part of the Novomatic Group, Admiral Sportwetten has maintained a strong foothold in Austrian professional football for some time, Prior to linking with the 15-time Austiran champions, the firm inked ongoing agreements with SK Rapid Wien, FK Austria Wien, SK Sturm Graz, LASK, Admira, WAC and SKN St. Pölten.
Additionally, the firm recently became a partner of the top-flight Bundesliga, and also having held the title sponsorship of the Austrian national women’s team since 2017.
