Racing and wagering firm Solbet has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with Peru’s Club Universitario de Deportes. Under the terms of the deal the betting brand’s name will be located on the back of the jerseys.
According to the Peruvian first division team, the Solbet logo will appear below the numbers and will be featured in all matches played by the team at national and international level, as well as friendlies.
The agreement between the Sun International group member and Universitario will also offer exclusive benefits to team fans, who will be able to interact and access promotions on the Solbet platform with a special code.

Universitario’s Administrator Carlos Moreno Grández said: “The Solbet company comes to Universitario because we are the largest team in Peru. Despite the difficulties, the ‘U’ continues to build confidence and there is faith that things will improve for the club. It is time to look forward.”

In late May, Solbet signed another sponsorship deal in Peru that positions the brand as the new sponsor of FBC Melgar. Just like the Universitario deal, the logo will appear on the back of the team’s jersey.
