FanDuel Group has been designated as the exclusive Sports Betting, Casino and Horse Racing Partner of sports gambling aficionado Sal Iacono (Cousin Sal) and Mush Media. The partnership follows the launch of Cousin Sal’s new website and podcast network, Extra Points, which is focused on his three favorite topics: sports, sports betting and comedy.

FanDuel will be the presenting sponsor and exclusive sports betting partner and odds provider of Extra Points and Against All Odds, a popular show formerly on The Ringer. This is in addition to presenting sponsor designations for three additional podcasts launching this week as part of the partnership.

These comprise Waiver Wired, a fantasy-focused show hosted by Jerry Ferrara and Jen Piacenti; Minus Three, concentrating on Northeast sports and starring Dave Dameshek and Geoff Schwartz; and the Lemon Pepper Parlay Podcast, centering around teams in the Midwest, hosted by Rob Parker and T.J. Houshmandzadeh.

The sportsbook operator will also collaborate with Cousin Sal on original content for use across FanDuel and Cousin Sal’s channels.

Mike Raffensperger, CMO, FanDuel Group, commented: “This exciting collaboration is part of our continued efforts to expand FanDuel’s reach through authentic content partnership. Sal is a fun, unique content creator who brings a light touch and comedic perspective to the sports gambling market.

“He has built a large and loyal following as a trusted voice in sports and sports betting for over a decade, which has translated into an exciting new media venture that we are thrilled to be a founding partner of.”

Sal remarked: “From the time I was a very young boy, I always wanted my own promo code. What better way to achieve this goal than by partnering up with FanDuel, the gold standard in daily fantasy and sports gambling? I’m very excited to get started.”

Sal first garnered national attention as a writer and “Cousin Sal” personality on his real-life cousin’s show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He since became one of the hosts of Fox Sports’ Fox Bet Live and is featured weekly on the Fox NFL Thursday Night Football pregame. For over a decade he also appeared on the Bill Simmons Podcast for their “Guess the Lines” gambling segment.
