Online instant win game developer IWG has signed a five-year contract with the Virginia Lottery to deliver its instant win games portfolio through the provider’s locally-deployed RGS.

In a statement, IWG said that the addition of its games library, which is set to go live in August 2020, will strengthen the lottery’s online offering by adding a “diverse and well-rounded games library to its established instant game portfolio”.

The firm added: “Virginians will soon get access to the industry’s most compelling and exciting instant win games, which feature a wide range of mechanics, styles and themes that are proven to resonate with a wide audience.”

Launching with Virginia Lottery will mark IWG’s third US integration with NeoPollard Interactive’s iLottery platform, following successes in Michigan and New Hampshire. The instant win games provider will leverage its experience and expertise of the lottery market to provide a seamless integration for the lottery.

This latest deal extends IWG’s reach across the North American lottery sector and adds to its client list of lotteries which includes ALC, BCLC, Georgia Lottery, Kentucky Lottery, Loto-Québec, Michigan Lottery, New Hampshire Lottery and Pennsylvania Lottery.

Rhydian Fisher, IWG CEO, said: “Virginia Lottery has done a tremendous job building out its digital team and products, and we cannot be more excited to partner with them to offer our award-winning games. They’ve restructured their iLottery offering in a way that gives them early access to multiple game providers.”

Rob Wesley, Director of Digital at Virginia Lottery, commented that IWG has been a very helpful resource during its iLottery process. “When you combine its knowledge, experience, and variety of content, it was an easy decision to partner with IWG and complete integration very quickly after we launch iLottery,” he said. “We’re excited to offer its library of games, as well collaborate on custom content suited for Virginia Lottery players for years to come.”
