FanDuel has launched “Bet the Ballot,” a new, free-to-play Presidential Election prediction game ahead of US Election Day on November 3.

The game gives customers a chance to predict the outcome of the election, which features Democratic candidate Joe Biden versus President Donald Trump, on the FanDuel Sportsbook or FanDuel fantasy app.

Bet the Ballot is similar to real betting as it allows players to wager tokens across several predictions. Odds and lines are attached for each election-related market so that players can properly analyze their predictions before wagering their tokens. Players start with 1,000 tokens and can edit their picks at any point prior to Election Day. The game features a $50,000 prize pool for the lucky winner(s) with the most tokens at the end of the game.

Sample predictions participants will need to make include the following:

  • Who will win the US presidency? (Joe Biden: -175; Donald Trump, +138)
  • Who will win the MAJORITY in the Senate? (Democrats: -175; Republicans: +200)
  • Who will win majority of states? (Joe Biden: -120; Donald Trump, +105)
  • Will Trump win at least one state that Hillary Clinton won in 2016? (Yes: +250; No: -200)

Mike Raffensperger, CMO of FanDuel, said: “As we expand our election-themed offerings by adding real betting lines to help customers build their own bet slip, Bet the Ballot further reinforces our goal of providing customers with new and relevant ways to play and win on FanDuel.

“We have seen tremendous engagement with our Presidential Pick‘Em contests on the debates so far, and we’re putting the decisions in our customers’ hands by letting them make their own predictions.”

Bet the Ballot is live on FanDuel’s DFS platforms across all states where available. Popular questions from previous games ranged from how the candidates would greet each other, to the number of times President Trump would Tweet during the VP Debate (71% of participants correctly guessed over 3X)
